ESCO® Ultralok® U40 Excavator Tooth – U40CHB (Chisel Hot Slag, Heavy Back)

The ESCO® Ultralok® excavator tooth U40CHB is a wear part for the Ultralok® tooth system in size U40. The Chisel Hot Slag profile with the Heavy Back (HB) configuration is intended for excavator applications in highly abrasive materials and environments involving hot slag.

The tooth geometry provides a narrow cutting edge for controlled penetration and includes additional wear material in the rear section of the tooth. This design supports applications with high wear loads at the bucket cutting edge. The tooth is installed through the tooth interface at the adapter interface and forms part of the Ground Engaging Tools (GET). Tooth replacement within the Ultralok® system is carried out via the integrated hammerless locking mechanism.
