Teeth, Tooth Adapter and Retainer suitable for Bofors B-Lock B3
For Bofors B-Lock B3, the LIS® range includes one excavator tooth, one loader tooth, one tooth adapter and the corresponding retainer. Selection is based on the B3 reference number, the product type and the existing adapter interface.

Distinguish the B3 excavator tooth from the loader tooth
Two tooth designs are confirmed for Bofors B-Lock B3. The excavator tooth carries reference number 033 101, also 33101. The loader tooth is listed under reference number 033 102, also 33102.
Both teeth belong to size B3 and are used with the confirmed B3 tooth adapter and corresponding retainer. They remain different product types. The reference number, product type and existing adapter interface must match when selecting a replacement.
Compare tooth adapter 033 004 and retainer 033 201
The tooth adapter 033 004, also 33004, is a weld-on adapter for cutting-edge thicknesses from 40 to 55 mm. Its confirmed approximate dimensions are 213 × 103 mm. The retainer 033 201, also 33201, measures approximately 95 × 40 mm.
These dimensions help when comparing the replacement part with the removed component. They do not replace a check of the adapter and retention geometry. When replacing the tooth adapter, the actual cutting-edge thickness must also fall within the confirmed range.
Correctly identify the shared B3 and B4 retainer
The LIS® retainer listed for B3 under reference number 033 201, also 33201, is listed for B4 under reference number 034 201, also 34201. This dual assignment applies only to the retainer.
The corresponding teeth and tooth adapters remain size-specific components. A shared retainer does not confirm interchangeability between the B3 and B4 adapter interfaces.
Check tooth movement and adapter wear
If the tooth has noticeable movement on the adapter, inspect the adapter nose, contact surfaces and retainer area together. A new retainer cannot compensate for a worn or deformed adapter interface.
Before fitting the replacement components, check the tooth adapter and retainer for wear, chipping and deformation. Damaged or deformed retainers should not be reused.
Do not identify B3 from the machine model
B3 identifies a size within the Bofors B-Lock tooth system. It is not a fixed machine or operating-weight class. Machine make, model and operating weight therefore confirm neither the existing B3 adapter nor the required tooth design.
Technical identification is based on the reference number of the removed component, the product type, the adapter interface and the specified retainer. The existing cutting-edge thickness must also be checked when replacing the tooth adapter.
Distinguish B3 from adjacent sizes and PIN-Type
Sizes Bofors B-Lock B2 and Bofors B-Lock B4 use their own size-specific tooth and adapter interfaces. Similar tooth shapes or adjacent size designations do not confirm interchangeability.

The separately listed Bofors PIN-Type Torpedo teeth and roll pins do not belong to the B-Lock B3 system. Components from the two systems must not be treated as interchangeable.
