LIS® Excavator Digging Buckets 24–30 t (LK9)

Technical Specification: Class LK9

This weight class is part of our Excavator Digging Buckets category and represents the performance peak for standard crawler excavators from approx. 24 to 30 tonnes (typical models: CAT 326/330, Volvo EC300, Liebherr R926). The buckets of class LK9 are consistently designed for the enormous breakout forces of these large machines and feature the strongest material specification of our standard series. Available cutting widths: 800 mm to 1600 mm (Volume depending on width and geometry approx. 780 to 1800 liters acc. to SAE).

Material & Construction (Heavy Duty)

Designed for high service life in heavy mass excavation, we rely on reinforced wear components:

• Cutting edge: Dimension 300 × 40 mm made of HB500.

• Side cutters: 25 mm thick made of HB400.

• Bottom wear strips: 6 pieces each 100×16 mm made of HB500 (reinforced compared to LK8).

• Flank protection: Massive 12 mm HB400 strips on the side parts.

• Body: S355 quality steel with continuous 12 mm floor.

Individual Mounts from Stock

We combine industrial manufacturing quality with high flexibility. Since we stock both the bucket bodies and the adapter frames, we weld the matching mount for your system only upon order (final assembly). This enables short delivery times for large excavator systems:

• Lehnhoff: MS25 (also for MS21/25 combi)

• OilQuick: OQ80 (also OQ70/55 possible)

• Verachtert: CW40, CW45

• Liebherr: SW48

• Direct mount: Pin-on directly to the stick

Tooth System: ESCO Ultralok® U35

In class LK9, we use size U35 of the ESCO Ultralok® system as standard. The more massive tooth adapter is necessary to safely transmit the forces of 30-tonne excavators into the ground. Available shapes: Standard (U35S), Rock Chisel (U35C), or Twin Pick (U35T).

Extended Working Range with Tilt Couplers

When used with a tilt coupler (tilt quick coupler), a digging bucket offers significantly greater flexibility. The additional tilt movement allows for precise excavation and profiling without frequent repositioning of the carrier machine.
