Conical Design prevents Sticking
This special bucket (often searched for as a drainage shovel or clay bucket) is part of our comprehensive range of Excavator Buckets and solves a common problem in civil engineering: the sticking of cohesive material. The LIS® cable bucket is conically shaped on the inside (widening outwards). The technical advantage: This geometry breaks the vacuum when dumping. Even wet clay, loam, or sticky topsoil slides out cleanly ("self-cleaning effect"). Tedious shaking of the bucket is eliminated.

Due to the narrow cutting width of 150 mm and the smooth cutting edge, the bucket is ideal for:

Mount & Compatibility
Since this bucket size is used on micro excavators as well as 3.5-tonne machines, we offer two variants:

SY01 geometry (fits MS01 / SW01 – usually up to approx. 2.0 t)

SY03 geometry (fits MS03 / SW03 – usually from approx. 2.0 t to 3.5 t) Both variants feature a reversible adapter (Symlock function).

A narrow, deep bucket is exposed to high torsional forces. Therefore, we rely on massive material thicknesses for maximum durability:

Precision Trenching with Tilt Couplers
When combined with a tilt coupler (tilt quick coupler), cable buckets significantly improve precision in narrow trenching applications. The additional tilt movement allows for accurate trench alignment without constantly repositioning the machine.
Especially in fiber optic installation, utility trenching, and test excavations, the combination of a cable bucket and a tilt coupler ensures cleaner trench lines, reduced rework, and more efficient workflows.
