Teeth, Tooth Adapter and Retainer suitable for Bofors B-Lock B4
For Bofors B-Lock B4, the LIS® range includes one excavator tooth, one loader tooth, one tooth adapter and the retainer assigned to B4. The reference number, product type and geometry of the existing B4 adapter interface must be checked together when selecting the correct component.

Distinguish the B4 excavator tooth from the loader tooth
Two tooth types are confirmed for Bofors B-Lock B4. The excavator tooth carries reference number 034 101 (also 34101). The loader tooth is listed under reference number 034 102 (also 34102).
Both teeth belong to size B4 and are used with the confirmed B4 tooth adapter and corresponding retainer. Sharing the same system size does not make the excavator tooth and loader tooth interchangeable. The reference number, product type and existing adapter interface must match.
Compare tooth adapter 034 004 and retainer 034 201
The tooth adapter 034 004 (also 34004) is a weld-on adapter for cutting-edge thicknesses from 55 to 75 mm. Its confirmed approximate dimensions are 227 × 124 mm. The retainer 034 201 (also 34201) measures approximately 95 × 40 mm.
These dimensions help when comparing the replacement part with the removed component. They do not replace a check of the adapter and retention geometry. The existing cutting-edge thickness must fall within the confirmed range when replacing the tooth adapter.
Identify the shared B3 and B4 retainer correctly
The LIS® retainer carries reference number 034 201 (also 34201) for B4 and reference number 033 201 (also 33201) for B3. Both references identify the same LIS® component.
This assignment applies only to the retainer. The B3 and B4 teeth and tooth adapters have their own reference numbers and adapter interfaces. The shared retainer does not make these components interchangeable.
Check tooth movement and the adapter interface
Noticeable movement between the tooth and adapter can indicate wear on the adapter nose, contact surfaces or retainer area. A new retainer cannot compensate for a worn or deformed adapter interface.
Before fitting the replacement components, check the tooth adapter and retainer for wear, chipping and deformation. Damaged or deformed retainers should not be reused.
Identify B4 from the existing components
B4 identifies a size within the Bofors B-Lock tooth system. It is not a fixed machine or operating-weight class. Machine make, model and operating weight are therefore not sufficient to identify the existing adapter or the required tooth.
Technical identification is based on the reference number of the removed component, the product type, the adapter interface and the retainer. The existing cutting-edge thickness must also be checked when replacing the tooth adapter.
Distinguish B4 from adjacent sizes
Sizes Bofors B-Lock B3 and Bofors B-Lock B5 use their own tooth and adapter interfaces. Similar tooth shapes or adjacent size designations do not confirm interchangeability.

The separately listed Bofors PIN-Type Torpedo teeth and roll pins do not belong to the B-Lock B4 system. Components from the two systems must not be treated as interchangeable.
