Hydraulischer LIS Abbruch- und Sortiergreifer / Universalgreifer für Minibagger (passend für Kubota KX, Takeuchi TB, Yanmar SV).

Demolition & Sorting Grapples for Mini Excavators 0.7–9.0 t

Compact hydraulic demolition and sorting grapples for mini excavators and compact midi excavators from 0.7 to 9.0 t.

All LIS® grapples in this series are equipped with a 360° slew ring rotation system, Danfoss® hydraulic motor, HB400 shells, and HB400 blades.

  • Applications: landscaping, recycling, sorting, forestry and agriculture
  • Rotation: continuous 360° rotation with slew ring
  • Mounting: supplied with neutral mounting plate

Applications for mini excavators and compact carriers

The series is designed for the kinematics and auxiliary hydraulics of compact carrier machines. The compact design supports controlled gripping and precise positioning in confined areas.

  • Landscaping: placing boulders, natural stone walls and block steps
  • Forestry and agriculture: handling brushwood, logs and root material
  • Maintenance of roadside areas and green spaces
  • Sorting construction debris, wood and green waste
  • Light demolition and interior dismantling work

Not intended for ramming, pulling, impact or heavy levering applications, or for use in water.

Slew ring rotation system for mini excavators

All LIS® demolition and sorting grapples in this category use a slew ring rotation system.

Compared to compact rotator designs, this construction is intended for controlled gripping movements, higher loads and structured sorting and loading operations.

Power transmission is achieved through a hydraulically driven gear ring system. Especially on compact machines, controlled rotation and precise positioning are essential.

Hydraulic requirements for mini excavators

The grapples in this class are designed for the auxiliary hydraulic systems of mini and compact midi excavators.

  • Open/close working pressure: model-dependent up to 220 bar
  • Oil flow: depending on grapple size and machine hydraulics
  • Rotation pressure: maximum 120 bar

Important technical note: The rotation circuit must be designed for a maximum pressure of 120 bar. Pressure relief protection is required to prevent damage to the rotation motor.

Practical note: Mini excavators can generate high pressure spikes in the hammer circuit. Direct connection without pressure limitation may damage the rotation motor.

Recommended hydraulic oil temperature range: 20–80 °C.

Construction and wear equipment

The LIS® mini excavator grapples are designed for continuous operation with changing materials and precise gripping movements.

  • Danfoss® hydraulic motor for continuous 360° rotation
  • HB400 grapple shells
  • Blades made of HB400
  • Reversible cutting edges usable on both sides
  • Cutting edges with end stop function
  • Compact slew ring
  • Neutral mounting plate

Matching wear and service parts can be found under Demolition & Sorting Grapple Spare Parts.

Mounting and quick coupler systems

The grapple is supplied with a neutral mounting plate. The final mounting interface is configured by the customer or on a project-specific basis.

The following systems are commonly used in the mini excavator segment:

  • MS systems: MS01, MS03, MS08
  • CW systems: CW05, CW10
  • OQ systems: OQ45

The adapter configuration must consider machine weight, breakout force and operating profile.

Maintenance and operating requirements

  • Lubricate all grease points at least every 8 operating hours
  • Inspect hydraulic hoses and bolted connections regularly
  • Check reversible cutting edges before operation
  • Keep the hydraulic system clean and monitor filter condition

Insufficient lubrication can increase wear on the slew ring, pins and bushings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the matching mounting bracket included?

No. The grapple is supplied with a neutral mounting plate. The final mounting interface is configured on a project-specific basis.

Why is the 120 bar rotation limit important?

The rotation motor is designed for a maximum pressure of 120 bar. Without pressure limitation, pressure spikes may damage the motor.

What are mini excavator grapples mainly used for?

The series is primarily intended for landscaping, sorting work, forestry and agricultural handling with compact carrier machines.
