System Differentiation: The J200 Size
The J200 size is specifically designed as a lightweight system solution. It is ideal for precise earthmoving work, but not designed for high continuous loads or heavy demolition work. Tooth tips, adapters, and locking parts are only compatible within the J200 size.

Technical Identification: Is it really J200?
Use these reference values for exact identification on the old part:
- 1. Typical J200 Part Numbers (Cast Numbers):
Common reference numbers for J200 tooth points end in "...202" (e.g., the standard tooth 1U-3202). - 2. Adapter Nose Dimension (Inch Rule):
As a rough technical guide, the thickness of the adapter nose for the J200 size is approx. 2.0 inches (approx. 51 mm). - 3. Dimensions of J200 Locking Elements:
The J200 locking pin (e.g., reference number 8E-6208) has a diameter of Ø approx. 11.0 mm and a length of approx. 55.0 mm. The corresponding retainer has an outer diameter of approx. 22.0 mm.
Workshop Hint: Risk of System Under-Dimensioning
A frequent error in everyday workshop practice is the use of the J200 system in excessively hard soils or on machines whose leverage forces actually require a larger system (e.g., J225 or J250). The consequences are sheared locking pins or detached tooth caps. This is usually an indicator of structural system under-dimensioning and not a material defect. If pin breakage occurs repeatedly, a system upgrade should be considered.
Tooth Shapes and Adapters for Thin Cutting Edges
The J200 tooth system aims for maximum penetration with minimal system mass. LIS® carries the following profiles:
