Original ESCO® Super V® Tooth System

The LIS® range for Original ESCO® Super V® includes tooth points, adapters, weld-on noses and locking pins in twelve system sizes from V13 to V61. For direct replacement, V-size and ESCO® reference are the key details. If the marking is worn or no longer legible, LIS® can assist with identification.

Search by tooth size (e.g. J200, U35, V59)

ESCO® Super V® – finding the right replacement part

With Super V®, V-size alone is not enough to identify the correct part. Different tooth profiles and adapter designs can exist within the same size. The locking pin must also match the respective configuration. For direct replacement, V-size, ESCO® reference and component type should therefore be checked together.

On worn tooth points, shape alone can be misleading. A similar-looking point or an adapter of the same V-size is therefore not automatically the correct replacement part.

Match the Super V® size and reference

The V marking identifies the system size. The individual Super V® sizes are arranged as separate categories above the product listing. If the reference on the existing tooth point, adapter, weld-on nose or locking pin is still legible, it should be compared with the product designation.

Machine manufacturer, model and attachment can help narrow down the search. For direct replacement, V-size, reference and the existing configuration are particularly important.

Which tooth profile suits the application?

Different tooth profiles are available depending on the Super V® size. These include, for example, General Purpose, General Purpose Long, Penetration Abrasion, Pick and Twin Pick. The appropriate version depends on the application and the existing system configuration.

For direct replacement, the existing ESCO® reference provides the best orientation. If a different profile is to be used intentionally, it should first be checked that the profile is intended for the existing V-size and configuration.

What do CL and NCL mean on ESCO® tooth points?

For ESCO®, CL means Centerline and NCL means Non-Centerline. The designation describes the respective tooth point configuration and should be considered together with the V-size and reference when replacing an existing point.

Check the tooth point, adapter or weld-on nose and locking pin together

Identifying a replacement part should not focus on the tooth point alone. Depending on the configuration, the adapter or weld-on nose and the corresponding locking pin are also relevant to the selection. A similar design or a neighbouring V-size does not confirm interchangeability.

ESCO® Super V® or UltraLok®?

Super V® and the ESCO® UltraLok® tooth system are different systems. With UltraLok®, the locking mechanism is integrated into the tooth point. With Super V®, the locking pin specified for the respective configuration must be taken into account.

Components should therefore not be assigned to either system solely because they look similar, nor should parts be transferred between Super V® and UltraLok® without the correct system identification.

ESCO® reference no longer legible?

On heavily worn parts, markings are often only partly visible or no longer readable. For identification, photos of the tooth point, adapter or weld-on nose and the locking pin, any remaining markings and available dimensions are useful.

Machine manufacturer, model and attachment can provide additional information. Before selecting a part based only on visual similarity, the existing configuration should be checked. If you need assistance, contact LIS® technical advice.
