Select 300 mm rubber tracks by size group and version

For 300 mm rubber tracks, the size group determines the technical assignment. The LIS® range includes variants with 109 mm pitch, 52.5 mm pitch and further groups with 48 mm, 53 mm, 55 mm and 55.5 mm pitch. The same width can belong to different undercarriages depending on pitch, number of links and version.

For purchasing departments, workshops and spare parts dealers, comparison with the existing track is therefore essential. Relevant details include the readable track marking, the complete technical product data, the track version, the inner guide geometry and the displayed machine assignment in the LIS® shop.

Match LIS® article data with market-standard size notation

For rubber tracks, size data may be arranged differently depending on the data source. LIS® articles such as 300/38/109W are displayed in the shop in the order width, number of links and pitch. In the market, the same technical size combination is often searched as 300x109x38W, meaning width, pitch and number of links.

This is especially relevant for the 52.5 mm group: an LIS® article such as 300/84/52.5W may appear in external data, track markings or search queries as 300x52.5x84W or 300x52,5x84W. For technical selection, the order of notation is not decisive; the clear combination of width, pitch, number of links and version is decisive.

109 mm group: check N, W and K versions

The 109 mm group is listed in the 300 mm width with a lower number of links compared with many 52.5 mm articles. In the LIS® range, this group includes, among others, N, W and K versions. These variants must not be selected by width or machine designation alone.

The decisive factor is whether pitch, number of links and guide geometry match the existing track and the undercarriage variant. Even a different number of links or a different version can indicate another machine or undercarriage assignment.

52.5 mm group: higher link counts and several versions

The 52.5 mm group is particularly extensive in the 300 mm width. It includes significantly higher link counts and is listed article by article, among others, as N, W, K or WK version. Typical market notations include 300x52.5x78W, 300x52.5x80N or 300x52.5x84W.

This size group must not be confused with 109 mm variants. Even within the 52.5 mm group, different link counts and versions may lead to different machine and undercarriage assignments.

Do not mix 55/55.5 mm, 53KX and 48SRT variants

In addition to the main groups with 109 mm and 52.5 mm pitch, the 300 mm category includes further technical variants. These include, among others, 55 mm and 55.5 mm versions, 53KX versions and 48SRT versions.

These groups are not replacement variants for 109 mm or 52.5 mm pitch. Before ordering, the existing track marking, inner guide design, machine model and displayed article data should be checked. Codes such as Y, KX, WK or SRT must always be evaluated article by article.

Check track marking, machine model and undercarriage together

If the marking on the existing rubber track is still readable, the complete designation should be compared with the technical product data. Width, pitch, number of links and track version must all match. For 300 mm rubber tracks, neither the width nor the machine designation alone is sufficient for reliable identification.

If the marking is no longer completely legible, width and pitch must be measured individually, the inner links counted and the track version or inner guide geometry identified. The machine model, series, year of manufacture and undercarriage variant must also be checked.

Check adjacent undercarriage components if identification is unclear

If identification is unclear, adjacent undercarriage components should also be checked, especially drive sprockets, idlers, track rollers and track adjusters. A 300 mm rubber track must match the existing undercarriage geometry, not only the machine designation.

300 mm rubber tracks, excavator tracks and rubber crawler tracks

Depending on market terminology, 300 mm rubber tracks may also be referred to as 300 mm excavator tracks, rubber crawler tracks or tracks for compact machines. This category covers rubber tracks for machines with rubber-track undercarriages, not steel tracks.

If a steel-track undercarriage is required instead of a rubber track, the relevant undercarriage categories are track chains, complete track chains, track shoes or rubber pads and rubber plates, depending on the required component.

Further rubber track widths

LIS® 300 mm rubber tracks are used in OEM quality. If the existing track has a different width, the main category rubber tracks leads to further widths from 150 to 900 mm. Common technical entry points also include 280 mm rubber tracks, 320 mm rubber tracks, 350 mm rubber tracks and 400 mm rubber tracks.
