Technical Specification: Class LK7
This weight class is part of our Excavator Digging Buckets category and covers typical carrier machines in this class from approx. 14 to 20 tonnes (e.g., CAT 315, Volvo EC140, Liebherr R914). The buckets of class LK7 are specifically optimized for the ratio of dead weight to breakout force in this segment. Available cutting widths: 600 mm to 1400 mm (Volume depending on width and geometry approx. 400 to 1000 liters acc. to SAE).
Material & Wear Protection
To withstand high loads in continuous operation, we rely on above-average material thicknesses:

Cutting edge: Dimension 300 × 30 mm made of HB500 (Maximum hardness).

Side cutters: 25 mm thick made of HB400.

Body: S355 quality steel with continuous 12 mm floor and 8 mm side walls.

Flank protection: Additional 8 mm HB400 strips protect the side parts from abrasion.

Extended Working Range with Tilt Couplers
When used with a tilt coupler (tilt quick coupler), a digging bucket offers significantly greater flexibility. The additional tilt movement allows for precise excavation and profiling without frequent repositioning of the carrier machine.
