When Impact Matters: LIS Hydraulic Hammers in Action
Rico Gredig is based in Obere Warnow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. His company specializes in demolition and earthwork and carries out projects throughout Germany. For several months now, he has been using a LIS 155A-BT hydraulic breaker.
“I was looking for a powerful demolition hammer. After using the Linser hammer on a few jobs, I can say that I’ve found exactly the tool I was looking for,” says Gredig.
The LIS 155A-BT is designed for excavators weighing 28 to 35 metric tons and weighs 2,300 kg. With an oil flow rate of 180 to 240 l/min and an operating pressure of 160 to 180 bar, it delivers exactly the power reserves required for everyday construction site work.
“This gives me exactly the power I need for many jobs. Foundations, field stones, concrete elements, and other materials can be crushed quickly and efficiently,” says Gredig, describing his experience. The quality of the 155-mm-thick chisel also contributes to long service life and cost-effective operation.

Optimally adjusting impact force to the material
Different materials require different levels of impact energy and impact frequency. Hard rock requires high impact energy at a low frequency, while softer materials can be processed efficiently at a higher impact frequency.
That is why LIS hydraulic hammers feature an adjustable flow control device that allows performance to be optimally adapted to specific requirements. The powerful hydraulic and nitrogen system ensures high efficiency and minimal power loss.
A special design with an extended stroke between the piston and the main body enables optimal utilization of the impact energy. High-quality materials form the foundation for durability and reliability.
The Right Solution for Every Excavator Class
With 12 different hydraulic hammer models, LIS covers nearly the entire spectrum of carrier machines - from mini excavators to 75-metric-ton excavators. The smaller models are equipped with MS01 and MS03 mounts, whereas the models for compact excavators are supplied with a universal adapter plate, allowing virtually any quick-change system to be used.
The series ranges from the compact LIS40-BT, with a net weight of 143 kg, to the LIS215A-BT, weighing 6,900 kg.

More Than Just a Hammer
The package includes a comprehensive set of accessories, consisting of two chisels, hydraulic hoses, a seal kit, the Mato grease gun, various tools, and a 3-way valve with a pressure gauge for monitoring and adjusting the gas pressure. Models with a self-lubricating system (starting with the LIS75A) also come with two cartridges of lubricating grease.
For Rico Gredig, however, it’s not just the product that matters: “Working with Linser has been and continues to be a very positive experience for me. I received quick and professional assistance,” says the entrepreneur. Expert advice, a comprehensive spare parts program, and fast response times are therefore just as much a part of the overall package as the high-performance equipment itself.
Maintenance Made Easy
A hydraulic hammer is subjected to heavy loads every day. Regular maintenance and proper care are therefore crucial for a long service life and cost-effective operation.
The QR code on the hydraulic hammer takes users directly to the operating manual. There, they’ll find information on the machine’s design, spare parts lists, wear limits, and maintenance intervals. This ensures that all important information is available quickly and easily at any time—the best conditions for a long and reliable service life.
