The ESCO® Ultralok® excavator tooth U40C is a wear part for the Ultralok® tooth system in size U40. The Chisel profile is primarily intended for excavator applications where controlled penetration into compacted or abrasive material is required.
The geometry provides a narrow cutting edge for good penetration performance and includes additional wear material in the rear section of the tooth. The tooth is installed through the tooth interface at the adapter interface and forms part of the Ground Engaging Tools (GET). Tooth replacement within the Ultralok® system is carried out via the integrated hammerless locking mechanism.
