The ESCO® Ultralok® excavator tooth U40FHB is a wear part for the Ultralok® tooth system in size U40. The Flare profile with the Heavy Back (HB) configuration is intended for excavator applications where a wide cutting edge and increased material intake are required.
The wide tooth tip supports higher bucket capacity and is commonly used for excavation tasks such as trenches and foundations. Additional wear material in the rear section of the tooth provides improved durability under increased load at the bucket cutting edge. The tooth is installed through the tooth interface at the adapter interface and forms part of the Ground Engaging Tools (GET). Tooth replacement within the Ultralok® system is performed via the integrated hammerless locking mechanism.
