The ESCO® Ultralok® excavator tooth U40THB is a wear part for the Ultralok® tooth system in size U40. The Twin Pick profile in the Heavy Back (HB) configuration is designed for applications where strong penetration into compacted or difficult material is required.
The tooth is installed through the tooth interface at the adapter interface and is part of the Ground Engaging Tools (GET). According to the system application, this tooth type is typically used in combination with P-type teeth at the outer positions of the bucket cutting edge. Tooth replacement within the Ultralok® system is performed via the integrated hammerless locking mechanism.
